STATIC SHOCK: REBIRTH OF THE COOL TP
Written by Dwayne McDuffie and Robert L. Washington III
Art by John Paul Leon and Steve Mitchell
Cover by John Paul Leon
Static, currently appearing in TEEN TITANS, is back in this new collection of classic stories from his hit Milestone series!
When a mutagenic gas accidentally gave him superhuman abilities, Virgil Hawkins was reborn as Static, the electrically powered teen Super Hero. And while Static tries to balance the pressures of his school work, after-school job and family life, he also protects his inner city neighborhood against villains including Holocaust and Commando X. Collecting STATIC #1-4 and STATIC SHOCK!: REBIRTH OF THE COOL #1-4.
Advance-solicited; on sale May 27 • 192 pg, FC, $19.99 US
Static doesn't actually live in the inner city, but close enough. Also, Commando X doesn't show up until issue #5, so I don't think he'll be in this collection.
Click on the picture to see it full-sized. It's a great cover.

Yeah. JP Leon is one of my favorite artist. I hope to see him on the Titans while Statics' on the roster. Or maybe even his own title.

The mask and hair on the new version of the "trial by fire" I believe, kinda freaked me out. His hair looked purple, and he looks all different in the comic books, but Its all good, Static's my favorite DC hero. Even tho the cartoon isn't out on dvd, and they cancled the only game, and there was like only 52 episodes. There is a Static Shock DVD, and 52 episodes is a full order (four seasons) of an American Cartoon.

Any chance of full seasons of the show on DVD?

Sry Mr. I forgot about the DvD tittled "The New Kid" if my calculations are correct, but they still don't have the rest of the series out on dvd, or do they? At the moment, it's very unlikely.
