New Homepage, New Blog, New Forum

After months of neglect, http://dwaynemcduffie.com is once again fully operational, and then some.

Thanks to the hard work of Eugene Son and Kynn Bartlett, the site has been completely redesigned so that everything’s all in one place, and that place is much easier to navigate. My home page, news page and forums are now completely integrated in a way that should make visiting here and participating in discussions a lot less of a hassle.

DwayneMcDuffie.com now opens to my news page, which I’m switching over to a proper blog. This is still where I’ll post all of my news; upcoming episodes of TV shows, comics, DVD releases, convention appearances, and the like, but I’ll also try and post stuff that isn’t pure hype, more in the style of my old opinion columns, but mercifully shorter. I’m shooting for at least three of these sort of posts a week, in addition to the regularly-scheduled hype, but I’m hoping for more.

Commenting on a Blog entry now automatically creates a post in my new and improved Discussion Forums, which can also be accessed by clicking the links in the menus on the left side and top of every page on the site, or directly by typing http://dwaynemcduffie.com.lamphost.net/forums/ in your browser. Also note the “Latest News” and “Recent Discussions” lists down the right side of the page, with quick links to active articles and forum topics.

As in every incarnation of my discussion groups, we’ll be discussing my work (Justice League of America, Ben 10: Alien Force, Static Shock, Justice League Unlimited), news, politics, music, Books, TV and Film, sports, Nerd Bait, religion and other pop culture.

Finally, the new navigation menus and search features will make it easy for you to browse the articles, sample comic book scripts, biographical information and other ephemera that I’ve been accumulating here for over ten years now. It’s probably worth poking around, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Oh, I almost forgot, there’s an RSS Feed for the site now, bookmark it, or just wait for the updates on Facebook, if you’ve Friended me.

Please let me know about dead links, misformatted articles and anything else I’ve screwed up in the move.
